My turn for the owies

Dont' worry, nothing serious just a massively infected ingrown toenail. It started about 6 weeks ago with just the ingrown toenail and then about 4 weeks ago I kicked the wall (yes I know I have an odd history of doing this) and split the nail down the side. I *thought* I got it all, but I guess not. It evolved into this nasty oozing pussy pile of goo on my toe. Needless to say, it was so bad, the doc couldn't do permanent removal measures. That comes when this heals. Liesl came with me (thanks again!) and made sure I continued to breathe through the numbing process. That hurt WAY more than the procedure itself. My pain has been justified today though, now that I have brusing from where he injected the local anesthetic. I thought that hurt a lot! So after that whole thing my toe now resembles that of a cartoon character after they whack it with the ACME hammer (due solely to the bandaging - not swelling). I should really draw a toenail on it just to freak everyone out. Ha ha ha! Anywho, after the toe fiasco I went to get my allergy shots. That was a piece of cake. I got the cats and mold in the right arm and pollen and tree mix in the left. I didn't even feel him give me the injections. Dr. D was that quick. Besides the fact that those needles are like a freaking 50 guauge. TINY! Ha ha! I had no reactions local or systemic so I think we are good. I am a little extra stuffed up and snotty/sneezy today, but nothing I can't handle. With the allegra.
